American rapper Soulja Boy believes he knows the real reason for the resignation of ex-president Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime – and this may have something to do with his fake game consoles.
Soulja Boy retweeted Nintendo's video, in which he discussed Fils-Aimes retirement on February 22, with a caption that indicates his possible involvement in the change.
"I have retired him," Soulja said about the development, including the emoji in his post, to achieve that. Soulja's Tweet was probably made in relation to his controversial console line, which was taken out of his online store in late December 201
that did not stop his efforts; The rapper later introduced another set of consoles that mimicked the Sony products that were also removed after a short while – as well as his entire website.
Soulja created a new website with an equally new console, which was smaller (and significantly cheaper) than its previous systems.
Soulja's console initiative sparked controversy as its systems were ROM-hacked. Knockoff's consoles have been offered through websites such as Aliexpress and Amazon at a much lower price.
The withdrawal of Fils-Aime has been a surprise to many of the company, especially given that the next president of Nintendo of America is literally referred to as "Doug Bowser."
Since then, Soulja has been eyeing his potential boxing controversial YouTube creator Jake Paul in a $ 20 million match – but with no specific details yet to be released for their fight.
