PARIS – Air France, Emirates and Etihad Airways continue to fly to Cairo after British Airways and Lufthansa have canceled their flights to the Egyptian capital.
British Airways International Airlines Group has canceled flights on Saturday for seven days "as a precautionary measure" in checking the security at the airport of Cairo.
The German Lufthansa later said that it canceled the flights from Munich and Frankfurt to Cairo and will resume flights on Sunday.
"In collaboration with the French authorities and local authorities In Egypt, Air France has decided to continue its service to Cairo," a spokesman said in a statement sent to Reuters.

The Abu Dhabi s Etihad website showed that its services were also operational.
