Britain's Got Talent 2019: George Sampson Describes The Emotional Journey After The Victory Of 2008 | TV & Radio | Showbiz & Television

Britain's Got Talent 2019 brought a new collection of champions to the show last night to fight it once more. The winners also included George Sampson – former winner of the UK Got Talent competition in 2008.

He returned to the show last night after years of working on his routine and honing his craft.

In the launch event for his appearance, George announced that he had received some terrible news shortly after winning the contest.

Regarding video clips in which he won the show, George said, "About a year after winning Britain's Got Talent, I have a really bad back injury.

"Doctors told me I could never dance again.

He continued, "You came back as a man, a champion, a great guy. I am absolutely thrilled that you are here.

George himself was overwhelmed with emotion as he thanked the judges for their time.

He said, "I would not change it for a change.

"It was the best time of my life. I owe everything to this show. "
