This was the most incredible year yet for SpaceX to launch rockets.
In the year 2018, Elon Musk's airline achieved 20 successful launches. These missions sent dozens of payloads into orbit, debuted two experimental Starlink Internet satellites, and even shot past the orbit of Mars with a car.
The company has yet another start scheduled for December.
Musk felt well enough in May about SpaceX's progress in 2018 that he said the company could "launch more missiles than any other country".
That was not the case, as China successfully launched 35 of its long-orbital missiles in 201
But SpaceX has broken its own record for most orbital rocket launches of a single company within a year. The company set this record – 18 launches in a single calendar year – in 2017. (United Launch Alliance held the title with 16 commercial rockets launched in 2009.)
Here's a look at each launch of the SpaceX missiles from 2018 and what distinguished everyone.
