SpaceX's article on launching Falcon 9 in May – the first source for space exploration and satellite technology.
SpaceX is ready to launch an upgrade of the Falcon 9 rocket. The update allows reuse of the rocket at a lower cost. The improvements also make the rocket safer than astronauts. The rocket will be launched for the first time with a Bangladesh communications satellite called Banghadhahu-1.
The upgraded satellite Falcon 9 Block 5 was tested at the Florida Spaceport. The rocket is powered by nine Merlin 1
The new rocket now meets NASA's human performance requirements previously lacking in the Falcon 9. SpaceX has scheduled a hold-down engine firing of the Falcon 9 Block 5 Monday, April 30 at Kennedy Space Center, Florida
The launch is scheduled for May 4. This rocket will start from Pad 39A and after the launch of Falcon Heavy from Space Coast in February, it will be the next launch 6.
