TOTALAN, Spain ̵

1; Spanish rescuers found on Saturday the body of a two-year-old boy who had fallen into a deep, narrow well in the south January, a Spanish official said.

Miners had drilled day and night to reach the boy Julen in the hole – 300 feet deep and only 10 inches wide – that was blocked with soil.

"At 1:25, the rescue workers reached the area of the well where they were looking for Julen, and they found the little one's lifeless body," said a government spokesman in Malaga.

There had been no signs of life since the boy fell into the hole. His family passed through a private estate in Totalan, southern Spain. Rescue workers found that the well was clogged with soil and feared the well had collapsed on the child.
