Stan Van Gundy, former head coach of Detroit Pistons, said he feels "lost" and has not received another coaching job since this season.
Van Gundy told Real Talk Basketball with Rex Walters podcast that he was interested again, but the possibilities were not there.
"It was like 11 weeks, 12 weeks, and there is still no plan," Van Gundy said. "I have no idea I'm somehow as lost as I. Every other time, I knew or had a pretty good idea that I would still try if I could get a job [for next season] I had planned to coach Now I really do not know, I'm really lost now I have no idea My wife wants me to retire. "
Van Gundy had a 39-43 record for Detroit in 201
"I want to do something, but if I do not coach, I do not want to work too hard," Van Gundy said. "If I'm going to grind, then I want to coach, if I do not coach, I want to be at least half retired, I really do not know."
Van Gundy, 58, has a career record of 523-384 and has also trained Miami Heat and Orlando Magic.
