It is often said that Week 3 of the NFL preseason is the last dress rehearsal for the regular season. If this is indeed the case, the Pittsburgh Steelers will play their game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3, with the vast majority of their starters rested and ready to go.
In week 2, the Steelers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 17 -7 at Heinz Field, but it was not without bumps and bruises on the way. After the game head coach Mike Tomlin identified several players who dropped out of the game for a variety of reasons or left the game.
Benny Snell Jr. (bar)
Anthony Chickillo (chest)
Both Of these players, the injuries were not considered serious, as Tomlin put it. However, it will be interesting to see if they can catch up fast enough to return to the field in Week 3.
Star rookie linebacker Devin Bush has been sent off with a so-called shoulder injury, but Tomlin considered it strictly precautionary. The Steelers coach said he hopes to bring Bush back to the field this week. Mit rookie and Michigan graduate Zach Gentry were also injured, but Tomlin did not mention the injury.
Tomlin was asked about the injury of Ola Adeniyi, and he said that in the coming days he will have more information for the media. Information on his recovery can be found in the following video:
