Anthony Chickillo, a backup linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is arrested on Sunday morning after a dispute with his girlfriend on multiple charges on Sunday. WTAE.com, citing a law enforcement agency, reported on the alleged confrontation with the woman.
According to court records, Chickillo was arrested by the Pennsylvania State Police and charged with simple personal injury, property damage, and harassment. The 26-year-old was released on an unsecured bond worth $ 10,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 30 October.
Team spokesman Burt Lauten said the team was aware of the incident and still gathering information. Chickillo, a five-year veteran, has a duel and a half-sack for the Steelers in three games this season.

Steelers did not play this week. The players received a free weekend from the team. Pittsburgh is scheduled to return to training on Monday. The Steelers (2-4) will host winless Miami on October 28th.
