The Twitch Streamer Jaryd & # 39; summit1g & # 39; from Lazar struck EA for its microtransactions in the upcoming release of Anthem.
The anthem will be released on February 22nd.
Microtransactions, as always, are a sensitive topic, but everyone has an opinion – including Summit1g.
When he responded to a comment in his chat about the leaked conversation "microtransactions for Anthem," Summit said, "I mean, I do not know why we expect anything else, you think EA is just a fucking day You're just going to do what you do, and make that money, feel it?
"They do not care about their reputation, man, or at least it's the one who does leading the way, no matter what reputation he has. "
The screenshot leak of the microtransactions was posted on January 25th in subreddit of the game ̵
Lead system designer Chris Schmidt commented to Reddit on the leak: "Hey, there! One thing to keep in mind is that they are not final and will be stamped for all eternity prices. We go through our economic design and balance almost daily, so you'll see a snapshot of an iteration.
"That's why we tend not to talk about things like pricing," explains Schmidt, "because it's one of those iterations that will change for sure until the day you play the game. "
BioWare has previously stated that no items for the game are stored solely behind the Shards currency and can be earned through advances in the game. It remains to be seen how long these unlocks will take, but it will take less than a month for the players to reach Anthem. BioWare and EA may need to make some significant changes to the planned paid economy of the game.
