A SYDNEY newlyweds fights for her life after suffering multiple strokes on her honeymoon in the US.
Joseph and Francheska Bechara married in Darlington on October 7, before going to New York City for three weeks to celebrate their union
But after just two days in the Big Apple, Joseph, 28, found himself unconscious on Friday Francheska in a gym.
The primary school teacher was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital before the doctors told Josef that New Woman had suffered several strokes.
Francheska has undergone three major brain surgeries to reduce the swelling, following a GoFundMe page created by friends for the couple.
She now faces a four-month recovery in the US, after
Joseph is a project manager at Milestone Civil Australia, where his colleagues have joined forces to set up an online fundraiser to fund Francheska's massive medical spending.

"Joe has been informed that it will be a three- to four-month recovery because it's impossible for Francheska to travel," it said on the page.
"Joe needs help with housing, hospital costs (we all know that the US health care system is expensive), rehab costs and living expenses."

Family friend Rooney Farah described the condition of Francheska as "tragic and unthinkable."
"God bless her and the family gives her strength and much needed help in this difficult time," he wrote.
