Israel has evacuated members of a Syrian civil defense group, referred to by the media as White Helmets, from a war zone in the south of the country.

The evacuated White Helmets had worked in an area controlled by the Syrian opposition in the southwest of the country and had been captured by a government offensive. [ID:19659007] The IDF said that they had "made a humanitarian effort to rescue members of a Syrian civil organization and their families" and said there was an "immediate threat to their lives".
They said civilians had been "transferred by Israel" and "subsequently land to a neighboring country"
The IDF did not mention the White Helmets by name or the land receiving the civilians.
Jordan's official Petra News Agency said the country had "authorized the United Nations to organize the passage of some 800 Syrian citizens through Jordan for resettlement in Western countries."
Jordan has reportedly agreed to give them a safe passage to be relocated to Britain, Canada and Germany.
