Although Samsung Galaxy Fold was forced to postpone the launch of the market indefinitely due to serious design flaws, the smartphone accessory maker Spigen continues to plan the development of cases for the phone. Spigen has three cases under development: Tough Armor, Ultra Hybrid and Thin Fit. After showing some models in March, the company has now shown up-to-date photos of some of its prototypes.
Spigen states that the Tough Armor case was the hardest to develop due to his focus on joint protection. Based on the photos, however, it looks like the exposed hinge still does not protect against the Galaxy Wold's biggest weakness ̵
Here is a GIF that shows how the hinge works:
And how the cases will look for Ultra Hybrid and Thin Fit. Both cases are made of plastic and silicone materials such as PC, TPU and PU.
A spokesman for Spigen says that the products will be ready in a few weeks and the pre-orders will be opened soon. The cases are expected to be available in mid-May. This is before the date of June 13, that AT & T claims it will ship Galaxy Fold pre-orders. Nobody knows when or if the phone will ever be sent, but Spigen does not seem to be worried:
