After six wins in a row, Avalanche finally regained the loser's column when the St. Louis Blues came to the Pepsi Center and made two points on the hard path as they scored a 3-2 win. The game was a total of very vivacious, especially for a game in November, and it was clear that the Blues at the Avalanche were angry because they generally existed from the beginning. The Blues jumped out in the first half with a 2-0 lead, but watched as the Avalanche in periods two and three slowly broke off a third period to take the lead and possibly win a regulation. Jake Allen played the track exceptionally, and as the game went into overtime, it felt pretty good that the Avalanche would come out at the end of the defeat before Colton Parayko brought home a puck to win the game. The loss ended Colorado's winning streak, but since November 9 in Winnipeg, regulation has not diminished.
