For the eighth time in her career and for the first time since 2015, Taylor Swift also ruled the Billboard Artist 100, Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts.
Swift cites all three rankings (August 8th) as their surprising new album folklore According to Nielsen Music / MRC Data, the Billboard 200 starts with 846,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 30th. The total is the largest in an week for an album since Swift’s last LP. Loverin September 2019.

Swift spends a record-breaking 38th week at # 1 with Artist 100, leading for the first time since September 7, 2019, as Lover made his card entrance. Drake has spent the second most weeks on the Artist 100 (31).
Since the launch of Artist 100 in 2014, only eight artists have managed Artist 100, Hot 100 and Billboard 200 at the same time. Drake achieved the feat in a record 14 weeks (most recently on August 11, 2018 with Scorpio on the Billboard 200 and “In My Feelings” on the Hot 100), followed by Swift (eight), Adele (six), Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd (two each) and Camila Cabello and Kendrick Lamar (one each ).
Swift is the first artist to launch Trifecta since The Weeknd (After close of business, “Blinding Lights”) on April 25th. It last tripled on January 10, 2015 (1989, “Space”).
Among other Artist 100 chart moves, Logic is back in second place as his new album No pressure arrives in second place on the Billboard 200 with 221,000 units. In March 2018, the rapper spent one week at number 1 on the Artist 100.
The Artist 100 measures artist activity using key metrics for music consumption, mix of album and title sales, radio airplay, streaming, and interaction with social media fans to provide a weekly, multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.
