DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – The father of a 5-year-old boy who was missing in Dickson County was charged Saturday with his murder.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reported that Joseph Ray Daniels, 28, had deliberately killed Joe Clyde Daniels before Wednesday morning and hid his body.
Investigators are still working to locate Joe Clyde's body, and no motive has been released.
"The search continues this morning for Joe Clyde, and although this news is deeply disappointing, we are grateful for the volunteers who have volunteered their time and resources this week to look for Joe Clyde, "said deputy director of TBI Jason Locke.
TBI investigators arrive at the Daniels' house on Saturday morning and treat the area as a crime scene.
The Friendship Baptist Church, which served as the focal point for the search, will observe five minutes of silence on Sunday before the special prayer service in Joe Clyde's memorial.
Dickson County Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe thanked members of the community for their continued support.
"I would like to thank all the agencies for working with us this week and the work is not finished yet, we are still here, we are still on stage and we will be there and we will recover "Bring determination," said Bledsoe.

Daniels was taken to Dickson County Prison and is held for $ 1 million.
Joe Clyde, the Autism has been reported missing by his parents, claiming he had been last seen in his home on Garner's Creek Road on Tuesday night, and on Wednesday morning the TBI issued an "Endangered Child Alert".
