Teen Mom Star Maci Bookout did not respond directly after her ex-fiancé Ryan Edwards was arrested late Tuesday evening, but she shared a cryptic tweet days later. Bookout and Edwards have a famous bad co-parenting relationship and regularly fight over their 9-year-old son Bentley in the MTV series.
"When it rains, it pours," etweeted message read by her mother, Sharon Bookout. The reality star did not add any context to the message, but it was written on Thursday, two days after Edwards, 30, was arrested at his home in Hixon, Tennessee, for violating his probation requirements. It is unclear what Edwards did, but he was on parole for a charge of heroin possession.
The arrest has apparently made things worse between ex-members, with 26-year-old Bookout and her husband Taylor McKinney protecting from Edwards, according to online records from Hamilton County Circuit Court in Tennessee. It is unclear when the protection orders were filed, although the news broke after Edwards was arrested.
The first order of protection is McKinney against Edwards. The second has Bookout herself and her three children ̵
Edward's arrest came one day after his wife, 21-year-old Mackenzie Standifer, announced that she was pregnant with her first child.
"I was just so sick with this baby," she said E! Online Tuesday. "I gave myself up all the time until two weeks ago, then I felt great and now I'm sick again." She added, "I had energy with Hudson, I was never ill, I never vomited, but now I get the slightest smell in my nose and I just puke everywhere. "
After his arrest, Standifer and Edwards made no statement. But during the interview, she said they were ready to become parents together. "It was one of those, let's try it for two months and see what happens." We tried for two months and nothing happened. And then we literally got pregnant next month, "she said.
Edwards to appear in court on Monday.
