Just when I decided I might like Lance Lynn, he went out and allowed four runs in the first inning. So I hated him forever and he and the Rangers only allowed one run on the rest of the way.
In the meantime, the offense had three runs at the end of the first race and eventually took a lead that they would not give up at the end of the sixth race.
Lesson learned: Always hate Lance Lynn.
Player of the Game : Nomar Mazara has had hot streaks before, but every time he goes to one of those bomb breakers, it's hoped that he'll finally realize that it's a long way from making him a star Rangers, if you only throw baseball in the sky I always thought he would become.
One day, after blasting 505 feet, Mazara went out tonight and sent one back to the upper deck before hitting another deep into the midfield side of the Rangers' bullpen.
Just keep going, Big Chill. [1
