The suspect, who was not identified, entered the bakery area of the store and ate half of a cake as he ran through the islands, as reported by Wichita Falls Police Department.
Once at the cashier, the woman demanded half a discount because she only bought half a pie. Police say she refused to pay for the missing half of the cake, even though she had eaten it on the way to the cash register.
She eventually paid the entire cake when the police arrived and was barred from the shop for theft.
