The NFL Draft is serious business, but it's not all serious. Stupid and heartwarming stuff happens everywhere. We do not just see how names fill in tables. We also observe how dreams are fulfilled, millionaires are shaped and hope that they will be (briefly) renewed.
So here's a running list of the 2018 NFL Draft's silly, weird and very good moments that have been updated in all seven rounds. Click here for all the tips and stuff
1. # 1 Pick Baker Mayfield owned the entire thing before it even started.
The new Cleveland QB has recreated Brett Favre's legendary design of Nachtjorts, right down to the shirts in the background and even upgrading the phone to something more vintage
2. Fellow Brown Denzel Ward set the tone for the uniforms.
We've seen them in the NBA Draft so it's time for football to catch up.
. 3 The inexpensive suit legend and Lamar Jackson's shirt has tiny UFOs on it. QB1.
. 4 Rashaan Evans of the Titans is your walk-up music winner.
For entry music, Alabama LB chose Chief Keefs "Finally Rich," a song about ultimate sophistication. All players selected in this event are finally rich.
Here is the playlist of other choices, with Josh Allen responsible for all Bon Jovi.
. 5 Giants choose Saquon Barkley: the overall winner of the weekend.
The top running back is also a brand new dad:
And somehow Odell Beckham Jr. lured New York's pickaxe over an Instagram tag like an hour ago?
. 6 Buc's freshman Vita Vea has already staked his first purchase.
The big family of Washington DT has been through a lot, but soon he will be able to change everything:
Vitas parents worked for what they have. They do not complain and do not ask for help.
"We survive," Sione said.
Nonetheless, her youngest child, like the NFL and the first round, still wants to give.
"The one thing I know, though, is that I'll get my mother a house, that my parents will feel comfortable there with their life situations," Vea said. "That's a guarantee."
. 7 The best guest announcement of the weekend was probably during the first round.
The third day will be full of animals and other weirdness – bring back the orangutan, IMO – but the first of the wild horses will be much more meaningful.
Austin Denton, a 17-year-old who survived cancer, was honored to collect DE Bradley Chubb.
. 8 Notre Dame Guardian Quenton Nelson's father had secured the hat game, no matter what. (The Colts have made the choice.)
9. Virginia tech linebacker Tremaine Edwards, taken over by the Bills, is nineteen years old.
Tremaine Edmunds is the first teenager to write since Amobi Okoye in 2007.

10. New Packers DB Jaire Alexander forgot all about his own media spotlight once the Ravens Louisville had selected cardinal Lamar Jackson.
Elsewhere in Jaire News, there were tons of enthusiastic Packers fans in SBNationCFB 's Twitter mentions the discovery / enjoyment of this GIF by him who prances against Wake Forest:
11. Tremaine and Terrell Edmunds became the first brothers to be merged in the same round.
Terrell went to the Steelers.
"It's a blessing for my family, it's a blessing for my city, it's a blessing for my school," Terrell said in an ESPN interview after being selected. "I am grateful to all who supported us on this journey."
12th Ryan Shazier went on stage to announce the Steelers' first choice.
He suffered a terrible spinal injury in December and spent some time in a wheelchair. In recent weeks, he has appeared at a number of events, including NCAA tournament basketball and ice hockey in Pittsburgh. He was also an honorary captain in Ohio State's spring game in March.
. 13 The Eagles had announced kicker David Akers their second round, a close ending called Dallas. Akers literally screamed all the time, and it was beautiful:
Here are some more reasons why this choice is unbelievable:
1. They exchanged a point in front of the cowboys.
That's a shame for the cowboys. The Eagles sat in 52nd place and they moved around a few picks to jump to # 49 in front of Dallas.
. 2 They did so on the same day everyone found out Jason Witten retired.
Witten was a star tight end for the Cowboys for a decade. His retirement somehow came from the left field. The Cowboys need a new close, because Witten is on his way to Monday Night Football . Maybe Goedert should be that guy.
