Game of Thrones Cinematographer Fabian Wagner says there's a reason some fans have tinted the episode of the HBO drama on Sunday night too light – your TV.
"A big problem is that there are a lot of people I do not know how to tune in their TVs properly," said Wagner Wired UK "Unfortunately, many people also look at small iPads, which can not do justice to such a show anyway. "
Wagner added that showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss wanted the third episode of Season 8 titled "The Long Night" to get some effect.

In another interview with TMZ dismissed Wagner pointed out that the series was "always very bleak and a very cinematic show" it should be watched in a subdued light environment.
As for fans who found social media with complaints about the episode too difficult to figure out what was going on, Wagner disagreed.
"We tried to make viewers and fans a cool episode to watch," he said. "I know it was not too dark because I shot it."
