A 9-year-old girl from Nevada died just days after a gust of wind that toppled a house 10 feet high on power lines last Sunday.
The family of Elizabeth "Lizzy" Hammond confirmed the death of the girl Death Friday, the same day Hundreds of emergency responders and hospital staff lined the corridors of the Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno for a walk of honor when Lizzy's family donated their organs.

"We believe that her beautiful spirit will live on in the people she helps," the family said in a statement. "She was a warm-hearted, kind and selfless girl who loved everything and everyone." She also volunteered to feed the homeless.
Two other children who were in the bouncy castle were treated for minor injuries.

The incident will continue to be investigated, according to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office. The inflatable house was attached to the ground as the wind pulled it up.
