Well, Valve also seems to be building a headset.
The Bellevue-based gaming house in Washington has quietly posted a picture on its website on Friday featuring a new VR headset called Valve Index. The site highlights the details except to show a lightweight profile of the device and the promise to receive more information in May. "Improve your experience," says the picture.
Valve's representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The news of Valve's new headset could be a surprise. So far, Valve has seemed focused on helping its partner HTC develop HTC's. Meanwhile, Valve was known for incubation techniques such as which power the Vive headset. Prototypes such as the were also created, providing people with new, richer ways to control things with their hands in virtual worlds.
If Valve started selling VR headsets, that would not be just Oculus Rift S
