The Apple insider, who almost never got it wrong, has just released new iPhone 12 details – BGR

Despite Apple's efforts to keep product leaks in check, we recently received rumors about Apple's iPhone range for 2020. Of course, it's no secret that Apple plans to support 5G in 2020, especially given its relatively recent deal with Qualcomm. And while such an assertion seems appropriate in relation to 5G, remember that earlier rumors suggested that Apple's iPhone entry into 2020 might be a mere 4G affair ( via MacRumors ) claims that two of Apple's iPhone models in 2020 will include time-of-flight camera sensors that can determine how far objects are in a room.

Kuo's note reads in part:

We assume that three new 2H20 iPhone models will all be equipped with Front-Face-ID, and two of the new models will feature a ToF function on the back. We estimate that the delivery of iPhone models with front and rear VCSELs (Front Structure Light and Rear ToF) in 2020 will be 45 million units.

The impact on this technology is intriguing, with a time-of-flight sensor in tow Future iPhone models will offer improved 3D mapping, improved photo quality and, of course, enhanced augmented reality functionality across the board.

At the end of 201

8, there were first rumors about the surface of flight time camera sensors in which Kuo participated. It is pointed out that next-generation iPads and iPhones will benefit from the technology. Kuo's most recent note does not mention iPads, but given its great track record, the technology is expected to hit the iPhone sometime next year.

In particular, Apple's two top-of-the-line models by 2020 should have 5.4-inch and 6.7-inch displays. A third entry-level device will be equipped with a 6.1-inch display similar to the current iPhone XR.
