Coming soon: Fans of mobile gaming may remember the original Asus ROG Phone, one of the first real "gaming smartphones" with a high refresh rate (90 Hz). However, a gaming mobile phone in the product range clearly did not reach Asus, as the company has been working on the ROG Phone 2 for some time now. Today, an official revelation has been released that gives us details of the hardware specifications, display, and cooling features of the device.
This revelation was posted on Asus' official ROG blog by Jeff Kampman.
"Just over a year ago, the Republic of Gamers put our battle-tested DNA into a phone for the first time, and now it's time to get involved and go beyond it," writes Kampman. "The ROG Phone 2 contains everything we've learned from our first foray into high-end gaming phones, and some to create another portable gaming powerhouse."
