The Big Anthem patch now reduces respawn restrictions and changes loot

Anthem received a big patch this morning, delivering a ton of big and small changes to fix the ship two weeks after the last start of the game.

1.0.3 includes respawn restrictions; So there are no respawn restrictions anymore. Instead, the respawn timing is based on the activity a player is in. Crit-Path, Agent missions, and other missions as End Game missions have a respawn delay of 10 seconds. Missions, fortresses, and legendary end-of-game contracts have a 30-second respawn timer. Freeplay respawning remains unchanged.

Then there is the compulsory and generic promise of "improved stability for all platforms". Whatever that means, BioWare said earlier this week that it was the cause of some really nasty crashes on PlayStation 4 (like the whole system). However, this update should be on the way on 1

2 March. Nevertheless, it is noted in the full patch notes that 1.0.3 alters damage scaling for secondary sources of damage to address issues with this model as a whole. BioWare also said in the livestream this week that the March 12 patch was coming up.

The third major change concerns prey, and some players are already dissatisfied with it. From now on, level 30 players can not see any ordinary or unusual loot, the lowest two ranks of prey quality. While this sounds like an improvement for high-level catchers, some complained that the real problem was drop rates, not quality. Apparently, BioWare refreshed the drops last night and the players responded in agreement. However …

"Stop Nerfing The Loot!" Said One Player. "Everything the community wants is better drops. You give that to us, then far away. … Why can not you just see that people are happy with their game? Do you have to realize what makes ACTUALLY happy? "Another asked BioWare to" fix the loot on what it was last night "] Other highlights of the patch include the ability to launch an expedition from anywhere in Fort Tarsis, which should improve the pace of the game. Titans have also made eight different balance changes, including an increase in the time vulnerabilities are exposed (and they are always active on smaller titans), vulnerability damage, and improved collision detection on some attacks make them easier to evade. Also, the Titans will not reappear on a mission after being defeated. So far, for example, a player who has destroyed two of three titans on a mission would find all three waiting for them. Now it would only be one more.

The full notes are long (courtesy of Anthem subreddit), but check to see if your particular ox has stung. There are many with this game. Anthem is available on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
