The "Block Party" of the Salesforce Transit Center is an overloaded affair

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN)

A "Neighborhood Block Party" at the opening of the Salesforce Transit Center attracted a mass audience of Francisco facilities this afternoon, almost a day before the launch of the AC Transit bus from downtown San.

This will be preceded by the planned relocation of all 27 transit transit lines from AC Transit connecting San Francisco to various Alameda County points. These lines will leave the nearby Transbay Temporary Terminal in favor of the new center's bus decks.

In addition to the AC Transit buses, the new terminal will serve WestCAT (West Contra Costa County), Greyhound and Amtrak Thruway buses and MUNI buses to San Francisco. Eventually, Caltrain's terminal will move north from its current station on Fourth and King Streets to the new center, and California's high-speed rail trains would also end there.

The new 1

million square foot center occupies four city blocks and has four floors above ground and two below. It has a 5-acre public rooftop park with year-round activities and 100,000 square meters of retail space (half of the center's retail space was leased, according to the Transbay Joint Authority, which operates the center). ,
