Employees fired after the incident on Saturday
BROOK PARK, Ohio (WJW) – One of Little Caesars ‘Hot N’ Ready pizzas recently infuriated the customer.
Jason Laska visited the Little Caesars store on Smith and Snow Streets in Brook Park.
“She turned and asked me,”
He ordered a pepperoni pizza. When he got home and opened the box, he found the hot peppers on the pizza in the shape of a swastika.
“I was like they didn’t cut our pizza, but then I stepped back for a second and saw the icon. And I looked at him and said,” Wait a minute, did you have to order fresh pizza or something? “Said Misty Laska .
The Laskas did not eat the pizza, but saved it as evidence. They immediately called the shop that had closed a few minutes earlier. They received a call on Sunday from the local owner and Little Caesars headquarters.
“Told him that it should be an internal joke, that they were playing with each other and with the other employee, and that the pizza should never go out. He also confirmed that he let the staff go this morning, ”Jason said.
The Laskas often visit this little Caesar because it is so close to their house, but after the incident on Saturday they will never go there or to another place of the little Caesar.
“It is unacceptable and in our eyes we will never go back there,” said Jason.
“We are the kind of people who support diversity in our country. We hug and love them. We just want this hatred to stop, ”said Misty.
A spokeswoman for Little Caesars released the following statement on Sunday evening:
“We have no tolerance for racism and discrimination in any form whatsoever, and these franchise workers were immediately dismissed. We are deeply disappointed that this has happened because this behavior completely violates our values. We also contacted the customer to discuss this personally with them. “
