After months of teasing and working, the modders have released their 2.0 update behind The Elder Scrolls: Total War for Medieval II: Kingdoms . It now includes the fourth era of the Elder Scrolls world, the backdrop to the Civil War in Skyrim, which defines The Elder Scrolls V. The update also adds the storm capes and dark elf Great House Sadras as playable factions. This is the latest major update for the mod in development since 2015, using the objectively superior old Total War naming scheme. There is also a trailer to launch:
We reported the 2.0 update for the first time this year, and the modders have impressively released it by the end of the year. The changes reported there now concern: The Clockwork City, the Tsaesci Serpentmen and the Reachmen are now recruiting mercenary armies. The update is not just about the new factions or the fourth era, but also a bunch of new models and units for old factions. Characters like Mehrunes Dagon and Mannimarco have new, unique models. The twilight watchers have armored trolls. And maybe the best part is that there is now an All-Khajiit magic unit. There's even a "Pocket Guide to the Empire" for those less familiar with Elder Scrolls.
