Henry is the second high caliber member to leave the organization after Trump's approval earlier this month.
Log Cabin Republicans Chairman Robert Kabel and Vice Chairman Jill Homan announced approval in a Washington Post statement.
They gave Trump the right to remove LGBT rights as a wedge issue in the Republic's Party, citing his government's commitment to end the spread of HIV / AIDS, as well as his efforts to help other countries comply with modern human rights standards move.
The sources told the Blade that Henry disapproves of Trump and Log Cabin Defending their support in the media was one of their main reasons for resigning.
The Cabinet Republicans did not immediately respond to a request from The Hill to comment on Henry's resignation.
