When the Galaxy S9 came out this year, some were not happy to see that Samsung recycled the Galaxy S8 design for another year, even though the phone was not a perfect Galaxy S8 replica. The Galaxy S9 has thinner bezels, thicker metal edges and shaper edges. It also has a different fingerprint sensor design on the back.
The Galaxy Note 9, expected this summer, will follow the same design path, and we'll have a first leak to reinforce this idea.
A video posted on YouTube contains an alleged Galaxy Note 9 screen protector highlighting a familiar design. There is no way to verify its authenticity, considering that the Galaxy Note 9 is similar to the Galaxy S9 ̵
Just like the Galaxy S9, the Note 9 will not be an iPhone X clone, which was the design of most Android device manufacturers this year. Compared to last year's Galaxy Note 8, as Samsung did with the Galaxy S9, we expect reduced top and bottom bezels. At the top you will find the same complex arrangement of cameras and sensors. The Galaxy Note 9 will also have the same subtle edge curves as its predecessor.
While some early reports said the screen will have an in-screen fingerprint sensor, this no longer seems to be the case. However, a screen saver can not confirm or deny the existence of this type of function.
It's probably only a matter of time before the first Galaxy Note 9 cases expire, and by that time we'll probably be able to confirm that the phone will be a dual-lens camera like the Galaxy Note 8 and the S9 + and a rear-facing fingerprint sensor in a central position.
The Galaxy Note 9 will launch sometime this summer, early August is a possibility, as some reports say that Samsung hastened with this on the market.
