South Carolina cruised to Akron in the first half of a rain-soaked make-up game.

They scored again towards the end of the first half when they sent Samuel to the third overall impression of the day with a 5-yard touchdown pass.
Samuel is now with 28 touchdowns for the fourth time in a row. Bentley's two touchdowns at the end of the half are reluctant to tie Steve Taneyhill's record of 29 touchdown passes in a single 1995 season.
