Warning! The following contains spoilers for Avengers: Endgame. Read at your own risk!
Avengers: Endgame 's fight sequence in the end was massive. So massive, that if an unexpected figure helped out, many viewers might have overlooked it. Fortunately, there were some who accidentally caught a totally unexpected cameo Guardians of the Galaxy when a character from the movie appeared to help in the Avengers' emergency. Ironically, Howard, the duck, stepped up to fight for the world with the most powerful heroes in the universe.
For those who attend another show in the near future, Howard is seen among the many warriors who appear as Doctor Strange, Wong, and the rest of the wizards begin opening portals. When Hope Van Dyne is discovered, viewers should direct their gaze to the bluish alien to their right and then follow the weapon of that character down. In the distance, Howard looks a bit like being in his cameo scene after Guardians of the Galaxy .
Instead of packing Howard's pack has taken place, and he looks as if he would kick some earth invaders when the signal is given. His other posts are unknown, as he does not get a big action sequence to show what he's up to with other key characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Apparently the Russos did not find it fitting to focus on one of the MCU's most bizarre characters.
Here's the good news: There's still a chance of Howard's role in the battle. This is all thanks to a forthcoming Howard The Duck television series featuring the Earth-trapped Marvel hero. Provided this series takes place after Avengers: Endgame the series certainly has the opportunity to show this scene from Howard's perspective, or to have it recalled from the event. Damn it, maybe that's the event that's looking for him on earth!
Whatever the future series may look like, it is well known that the Russos Howard wanted to include in the action since Avengers: Infinity War . , According to Joe Russo, the initial idea was to send Peter Quill to Howard and ask him about the whereabouts of an Infinity stone while he was in a poker game. That would be great to see, though you could say it was better.
The real question is: What did Howard The Duck intend to do before he arrived? The Russos confirmed that he had survived the snapshot. So there might be a deleted scene or shot in the future that sets out what Howard intended to do in the period between Infinity War and Endgame . If not, is it at least good to see him along with the other good guys and possibly make a case to become a future avenger?
