CARY, Ill. – A man from northern Illinois was accused of attempting to give HIV to an officer by biting his leg The incident occurred in June When the police went into the house of 37-year-old Christopher J. Seerden to check their well-being.
The police said Seerden kicked a policeman and, after saying he had AIDS, bit another. The police said the officer was wearing several layers of clothing and the bite did not break the skin nor did it leave a mark.
After police confirmed that Seerden is HIV positive, he was arrested last Wednesday for transmitting HIV with body fluid. Battery aggravated to a peace officer and aggravated attack of a peace officer.
