The site is helpful because of the limited release of the movie.
Wondering where you can see "The Irishman" on November 1st? Luckily, distributor Netflix has launched a website where you can find every location and every airtime for Martin Scorsese's gangster epic.
While a web and social media presence is an important piece of marketing for most films, the site is likely to be particularly useful to viewers for Scorsese's latest. Netflix gives the three-and-a-half-hour movie a very limited theatrical version for less than a month before streaming it on November 27th.
The list on the website is not exhaustive, as more theaters and screening times are likely to be added closer to November 1, when the theaters set their dates for that day. On theirishman-movie.com you can check the air time and watch the trailer.
"The Irishman," based on Charles Brandt's non-fiction book "I Heard You Paint Houses," premiered last month at the New York Film Festival. It stars Robert De Niro as Frank Sheeran, a World War II veteran who became a mob killer and played a role in the disappearance of union leader Jimmy Hoffa. Al Pacino plays the notorious mob-affiliated Teamsters president. Joe Pesci also plays mob boss Russell Bufalino.
