Every spring, Jeep fans make their way to Moab, Utah, to celebrate everything with aand enjoy crawling over some big rocks. It's such an important event on the Jeep calendar that Moab has become synonymous with the brand, and to celebrate, Jeep now offers a dedicated Moab Edition Jeep Wrangler.
The cool thing about the Moab Edition is that it's on the Sahara trim Wrangler and that means you get more than just a sticker pack. You are indeed some extra off-road ability for your hard-earned greenbacks. The biggest change in this department is the inclusion of aggressive 32-inch SUV tires. These turn the standard Wrangler from a mall crawler into something worthy of the Wrangler name.
Other changes for the Moab Edition include the hood and steel bumpers from the Rubicon, a limited-slip differential and full-time transfer case, rock slider and some tasteful 17-inch rims made of matte aluminum. Oh, and you also get a sticker on the hood – that's still FCA.
Moving into the Moab Edition and it's pretty much standard JL Jeep, which is nicer than the JK. All Moab editions include leather seating, a nine-speaker Alpine stereo and a leather-paneled dashboard with contrasting stitching. UConnect Infotainment is standard, and that's good too.
Jeep keeps the cost of the Moab Edition as low as possible, but we expect to be sitting somewhere in the neighborhood of $ 40,000, based on prices for standard Sahara and Rubicon trim.
