The Jonas brothers are back together and better than ever.
After focusing on their own lives and careers, the brothers celebrated their long-awaited comeback earlier this year.
Although it took years and many heartfelt conversations before these brothers even considered being a band again, the idea of reuniting came from an unlikely source ,
It all started with a tweet
2019 will be a year that many of us will never forget because it was the year of the reunification of the Jonas Brothers.
Six years after the band confirmed their separation, the JoBros officially returned to music, showing their improved relationship as brothers.
Earlier this year, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas were alerted to the fans' unexpected breakup and comeback in their Amazon Prime Video Chasing Happiness documentary.
During the film, they detail their rise and fall as a band and even shared how much their attachment as brothers suffered from their fame.
While working on their communication skills and a brutally honest drinking game was needed to reunite them as a band, the Jonas Brothers recently revealed that these were not the only things that persuaded them to reunite.
In a recently sold out show at the Grammy Museum in front of 200 spectators, the brothers unveiled the untold story of what initially led them to think about reunion.
"It started out as a seed that planted in my brain through a few Twitter comments Nick Jonas said, "There were a few comments about how much someone wished we would get together again, and they sang" Year 3000, "which led me to believe that this is a song that is in ours last year in the first iteration was not played. "
The" jealous "singer continued," We were so contradictory Our authentic self and our creative center and what made us what we are, what I am for fun do not take us too seriously that we had started to let our insecurities lead the conversation and we stopped playing the songs that some of our fans loved so much. "
We can all be at & # 39; a group of guys in college age & # 39; thank.
Although the idea of reunification had come to their minds, the band did not encounter fan tweets that they actually started to think about re-working together.
With so many old and new social media fans inviting JoBros to celebrate their comeback as a band, talks began soon about a possible reunion.
"The [tweets] said," I wish they would come back so that I could see [‘Year 3000’] live, "Nick Jonas revealed." I've been thinking a lot that maybe there's a whole new group of fans Those who were really embarrassed to like the brothers at some point in their lives and who can now enjoy it simply because it happens to all of us, the things we were embarrassed to do when we were younger become things We love each other when we're older, so it was a nice thing to see. "
Although Joe Jonas took a while to agree to the idea of reunification, Kevin Jonas was on board from the start." I was we all parted as a band and about two months later, Danielle and I had our first daughter, Alena, who never saw the Jonas Brothers, at which point she is probably three or four years old, as we lead this conversation.
Jonas was open about his desire for his two young daughters to perform on stage and do what he loves. "I just looked down on her when we talked and it was one of those moments when she had to experience that," he continued. "If it's not for me, it's for her, at that moment I realized how much I missed it, because it hurt there, but I just missed my brothers."
Reflecting on the idea of reunification, the brothers only started filming Chasing Happiness when they finally made their decision. "The talks were funny, it's kind of sad and it's really interesting," Joe Jonas said "Let's just tell the story of the Jonas Brothers to the people and maybe be a bit more honest than in the past. This process was really healing, so we all came up with the idea of actually doing it again. "
While this comeback was definitely in the works, it finally happened and the fans could not be more excited than the Jonas Brothers are back together.
