Google released a brand new Google Maps feature on Tuesday designed to improve your overall navigation experience, but only if you're running the vehicle. Going for you "does not matter what kind of transport you use, including electric cars. As a result, Google Maps will continue to feature electric vehicle (EV) charging stations that should be useful in planning longer trips that go far beyond the autonomy of your electric car.
Assuming Electric Vehicles Will Only Become Popular in the Future In the future, Google's focus on EV charging should be appreciated.
Google Maps does not automatically list EV charging stations on your route. Google said in a blog post that a quick search in the app for "EV charging stations" or "EV charging stations" on the map shows the nearest stations. In addition, the results include practical information such as the location of a station, the number and types of available ports, and the charging speed. Charging companies now have a link to information about them.
Additional details of drivers, including photos, reviews, reviews, and questions, are also displayed in the search results.
Google also notes that Google Maps supports the following types of charging stations around the world:
- Global: Tesla, Chargepoint
- USA: SemaConnect, EVgo, Blink
- United Kingdom: Chargemaster, Pod Point
- 19659009] AU & NZ: Chargefox
The new feature will be available worldwide for Android and iOS first – make sure you have the latest app version installed on your devices. The desktop version of Google Maps will get it in the coming weeks.
