Earlier this week, Nintendo released a new update for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild . In addition to making the Switch game compatible with Labo VR goggles, version 1.6.0 addresses "several other issues" to improve the overall experience.
Switching times in the switch version are now almost in line with the game For example, on the Wii U, it takes five seconds for the shrines to load. YouTube creators and Speedrunner Alexis de Champris have uploaded a before and after comparison video on Twitter to highlight this. See for yourself below:
Although the tests were performed with a physical copy of the game, the Speedrunner is confident at this point the load times of Switch and Wii U are "almost". Another speedrunner backed up this assertion, saying there was "noticeably less over-world delay" when moving with special glitches and game exploits.
The loading times in Super Mario Odyssey are also said to have been accelerated after its last update.
