A suspect was arrested on Friday after being reported to have thrown a burning Molotov cocktail in the lobby of an US Citizenship and Immigration Bureau office in Florida. It was the latest in a series of attacks on Homeland Security institutions.

The authorities said that the unidentified woman entered the office at Oakland Park, some 53 km north of Miami, and hurled a bottle of gasoline with a lighted fuse. But the fuse detonated from the bottle before it could ignite, according to a report sent to government officials and reviewed by The Associated Press. No major injuries were reported.
