Galaxy Fold Review: Lots of Money for a Prototype
After a week with the Galaxy Fold, Christopher Velazco found much to love about his groundbreaking design. The only problem is that it comes with so many compromises that it came to the conclusion that "almost nobody should consider buying one". We could not afford the device for $ 1,980 without first testing a US production unit (our model was a European model), but as we found out a few hours later, this might not happen for a while.
iFixit Downs Samsung Galaxys Folddown
Remember iFixit's cancellation of a Samsung Galaxy Fold pre-release? Great, forget it now. Samsung asked – via the "trusted partner" who provided the dispenser device – that iFixit stopped using it and voluntarily complied with the website. Of course, the Internet Archive is still there if you really want to remove the hinges of Fold, or you could wait for a new release date so that iFixit can buy a retail model and find out if and what is different.
Sony says its new PlayStation is more than a year away
Sony's Interactive Entertainment (SIE) arms have commented on the future of the PlayStation as there is no chance the successor to the PlayStation 4 will be available from now until April 2020 in the shops.

Michael Leggett has launched Simplify, a free Chrome extension designed to streamline your inbox. Simplify shifts all Gmail sidebar icons into separate drop-down and pull-up menus. It shifts the search function to a less prominent location and shifts core functions such as deletion to the top bar. It also eliminates color-coded labels and places the Create New Email button in the lower-right corner, where the new email window opens.
