The American people are used to TMI, so the secrecy that Robert Mueller's report holds from the public's perspective is extremely difficult to work with, especially given the seriousness of the questions Müller was investigating, as well as the interference of foreign elections, possible collusion against electoral campaigns and the obstruction of justice.
These are the four-page abstract words and phrases that Attorney General William Barr sent to Congress.
The importance of Topline's rating that Muller has established no collusion can not be stressed enough – and that's good news for Trump. Muller has not recommended any charges against the president, and he has not recommended new White House or election campaign charges – although, of course, several Trump employees have already been convicted by Mueller's team, while others are awaiting trial or are being investigated by regular channels of the Ministry of Justice.
The special star pursued the issue of obstruction of the judiciary, but we do not know exactly who he hired – for example, the congress or the public – only the Attorney General up the ball and ran with.
What We Know
Even the quotes, which were published as part of Barr's summary, allow the imagination a lot.
For example, this main quote, which states that Mueller did not realize that Trump or his aides had conspired with Russia:
"[T] The investigation did not reveal that members of the Trump campaign with the Russian government in a conspiracy, have inter-election interference activities. "
These parentheses indicate that a" t "in uppercase letters was capitalized to form a sentence, suggesting that there is a first part of the sentence, says the first Part of this sentence, what the investigation has found? Is it saying that Trump election officials had contact with Russians and profited from Russia's actions? Is it saying that the Russians were following Trump's public commentary?
It does not matter we know that all of these things are true, but it shows how easy it is to go through the rabbit hole of the questions, if we are just snippets of the truth to have.
None of the quotes from Mill's report in the summary by Barr are complete sentences.
… "Although this report does not conclude that the President has committed a crime, it does not relieve him."
… "The evidence does not prove that the President was involved in an underlying crime, which is related to Russian elections. "
Oh, to know what comes at the beginning of these sentences.
Müller's quotes are not the only ones that raise interesting questions. Here are a few words from Barr to Mueller's report, the second part of which Barr says: "He refers to a series of acts by the President, most of which were the subject of public reporting that the Special Counsel had investigated, possibly to obstruct the judiciary may be a concern. "
Most of them are different. Which measures of the president, which examined Mueller, were not subject of the public reporting?
Barr has said he is scrubbing what Mueller has delivered to remove secret information or information that can not be published because it came from a grand jury investigation.
Of course, Trump could theoretically only do justice to all the classified information. Trump has said he has no problem with the report, which he still has not seen, being made public.
"It's up to the Attorney General, but that would not bother me at all," he said Monday.
Earlier reports were published
What if we only knew about The FBI's investigation regarding Hillary Clinton's email that she would not be prosecuted, and not judged by James Comey, that she had been reckless with classified information?
What if Bill Clinton's attorney general were able to issue a four-page memo instead of publishing his report to Ken Starr?
That's the question that Monica Lewinsky literally considered on Twitter this week with a four letter letter. Your life would certainly have been different.
At least a major part of Muller's investigations was shown in public: five people sentenced to jail, one person brought to justice, seven persons complained, 37 persons and defendants were indicted, 199 total criminal charges.
