Midwest: Kentucky
South: Tennessee
West: Texas Tech

To Observing teams see mark runs over their seeds:

Iowa State, Kansas State, Murray State, Nevada, Oregon, Villanova

6:44 pm: The statement for second line of committee chairman Bernard Muir does not seem to make sense his. Said Michigan state jumped Kentucky on the # 2 line and relocated the Spartans with the # 1 overall name to Duke with the region. Would have made it more sensible for MSU to go west with Gonzaga and bring Michigan to the East.

Wolverines got the better round after three defeats against the Spartans.

6:38 PM: The bubble burst for the state of North Carolina, Indiana, Texas, and the UNC Greensboro. TCU could be the biggest surprise. Too many losses for the Hoosiers and Longhorns. Schedule the Wolfpack not strong enough.

Probably all Bid thieves were cut off this weekend.

Nr. 1 Gonzaga Vs. 16 Farleigh Dickinson / Prairie View A & M
# 8 Syracuse Vs. No. 9 Baylor

Bulldogs get fourth # 1. The loss to Saint Mary's did not hurt them too much. An interesting battle of the zones between Syracuse and Baylor.

no. 12 Marquette Vs. # 12 Murray State
# 4 Florida State Vs. No. 13 Vermont

You want your fun 5-12 game, then have it here. Marquette and Murray State will be an up and down game. And after that, the Seminoles who are big and deep should wait.

No. 6 Buffalo Vs. # 11 Arizona State / St. Johns
# 3 Texas Tech Vs. No. 14 Northern Kentucky

So, when Bobby Hurley and the State of Arizona win the First Four Match, he will face his former school. Texas Tech is a big sleeper in this region.

No. 7 Nevada Vs. # 10 Florida
# 2 Michigan Vs. No. 15 Montana.

It's strange to see Michigan take second place in the West with Gonzaga, while Michigan State, who won the regular season and the Big Ten tournament and beat the Wolverines three times, must face No. 1 overall in the East play. Very unfair.

18:24: Full Midwest region

No. 1 North Carolina Vs. No. 16 Iona
No. 8 Utah State Vs. No. 9 Washington

The tar sacks are thus the third seed No. 1 of the ACC. This Gonzaga is probably the No. 1 in the West.

no. # 12 State of New Mexico
# 5 Auburn Vs. # 13 Northeastern

Pretty low seed for Auburn who, like any other team in the country, was so hot and just won the SEC tournament. The state of New Mexico is a dangerous opponent in the first round.

Wow. So Kansas goes regionally to Kansas City if they leave the first two laps behind and the UNC has to face them.

No. 6 Iowa State Vs. # 11 Ohio State
# 3 Houston Vs. No. 14 Georgia State

The cyclones are really talented and have just won the Big 12 Tournament. Have a chance to make a serious run. Maybe to the Final Four. Houston got a tall seed. We'll see if they can come until the second weekend.

No. 7 Wofford vs. No. 10 Seton Hall
# 2 Kentucky Vs. No. 15 Abilene Christian

Really good to see the committee's rewards for a great season. But Kentucky is in the second round.

And so we now have Wildcats and North Carolina in the same region. The teams met in the Elite Eight two years ago with a memorable shot from Luke Maye, who made the decisions. Another repetition this year?

18:15 o'clock: ] Full southern area

no. 1 Virginia vs. No. 16 Gardner-Webb
# 8 Mississippi Vs. No. 9 Oklahoma

Is it Gardner-Webb that becomes No. 16?

No. 5 Wisconsin Vs. # 12 Oregon
# 4 Kansas State Vs. No. 13 UC Irvine

With eight wins in a row and a Pac-12 tournament title, the ducks are getting hot. If Dean Wade is healthy, the state of Kansas could be dangerous for Virginia.

No. 6 Villanova Vs. No. 11 Saint Mary's
# 3 Purdue Vs. No. 14 Old Dominion.

Defending champion Villanova faces the team that has just lost the Gonzaga's No. 1 in the West Coast title game.

No. 7 Cincinnati vs. # 10 Iowa
# 2 Tennessee Vs. No. 15 Colgate

Vols probably lost the chance of a first place in the final of the SEC tournament. But that's a good point of attraction for her.

Kansas State, who will face Virginia in the Sweet 16, could be a decision of which the team will turn 40 first. Very defensive teams that slow down the pace. Wildcats took elite eight last year and could get there this year.

All four best teams have a good chance of reaching the Final Four. Very balanced.

6:06 am: Region Full East

No. # 16 North Carolina Central / North Dakota State
# 8 Virginia Commonwealth Vs. No. 9 Central Florida

In the second round, a UCF led by Johnny Dawkins faced the former school Duke.

No. 5 Mississippi State Vs. No. 12 Liberty
# 4 Virginia Tech Vs. No. 13 Saint Louis

Hokies defeated Duke without Zion Williamson. Could meet again in Sweet 16.

No. 6 Maryland Vs. No. 11 Belmont / Temple
No. 3 LSU vs.. No. 14 Yale

It's huge that the Bruins of Belmont are from the Ohio Valley.

No. 7 Louisville Vs. # 10 Minnesota
# 2 Michigan State Vs. No. 15 Bradley

And Richard Pitino will meet his father's former school in the first round. No coincidence there.

Duke Vs. Michigan State is a great potential match. Hard break for the Spartans to get no seed # 1 and then get seeded # 1? Very unfair. Apparently, it deserved better – even a possible seed # 1 itself.

The rest of this brace seems pretty weak. Can not seem Three ACC teams in the East are unusual, unless there are more than seven teams. Could be a good news for N.C. State and Clemson mean in the bubble.

6:01 PM: ] Duke announced the overall name # 1 as expected. Devils will be in the East.

6:00 pm: ] It's official at 18:00. ET and the selection show has started. You will discover the automatic entries.
