The new GaN charger from Baseus combines two USB-C ports and one USB-A port in a handy package

Gallium nitride (GaN) chargers have hit the market fast since the first batch was released this year: We started with smaller 30W and 45W before adding them to tiny 60W devices and dual USB-C have chargers that are smaller than traditional single plugs. And now the accessory Baseus goes one step further: A GaN-based charger with two USB-C ports and USB A port is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand about Charger Lab .

The new building block – the Baseus 65W 2C1A multi-port GaN charger – is perhaps the most versatile GaN connector ever. The charger offers a maximum power of 65 W: up to 65 W from a single USB-C, 45 W and 1

8 W, split between the two USB-C ports or a USB-C port and a USB-A port , or 45 W (split between the two USB-C ports as needed) and 18 W to the USB-A port. It basically covers all your charging needs and is still fairly compact. Instead of a conventional stone, it has a longer stick shape, that is, it does not block any of your neighboring stones on a power strip, which is very nice.

Unfortunately, the new Baseus charger will initially only be available in mainland China. At the current pace of GaN chargers, however, it would not be surprising if a similar (or even more port-laden) brick appears soon in the US.
