The New York Times must go to its knees and ask for forgiveness



President Trump spent his grievances against the media early Tuesday morning.

He aimed at the New York Times, referring to the outflow as an enemy of the people, saying the publication would "go to his knees [and] for forgiveness" from him, and inaccurately claimed that the newspaper was with him apologized in 2016 for his coverage during the election.

He attacked New York Times columnist Paul Krugman as "stupid" and accused the economists of writing "false and highly inaccurate" things about him – without specifying what he had objected to.

The President also accused the media of ignoring how well the economy performs during its presidency.
