The Chinese smartphone company Nubia has unveiled the Red Magic 3, a 48-megapixel photo and 8K video. The unit's performance is so high that it provides liquid cooling via a copper heat pipe and built-in cooling fan .
The Red Magic 3 is marketed as a smartphone that excels when playing. It's also a beast on the photography and video front.
Inside the phone is a 1 / 2.0 "Sony IMX586 sensor for 48 megapixels (1: 1.7). On the front there is a 16-megapixel camera (1: 2.0).
On the video front, the smartphone sets new records among smartphones with 8K video recordings and 1920fps high-speed super-slow motion video.
Cool Inside the device, the phone uses a special heat pipe and a fan that rotates at up to 14,000 rpm to deliver five times the heat transfer performance of traditional passive cooling systems. The internal fan is protected in an IP55 enclosure that keeps out liquids and dust, and is designed to operate for up to 30,000 hours.
Other specifications and features of the Red Magic 3 include Android 9 Pie, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of memory, a 5,000 mAh battery, USB fast-charging, a 6.65-inch FHD + AMOLED display (with HDR and 90 Hz (refresh), stereo speakers and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The phone costs only ¥ 2899-4,299 ($ 430- $ 640) – for 6GB of RAM and 64GB of memory at the lowest end and 12GB of RAM and 256GB of memory at its highest end – when it starts in China on May 3 and is due to launch in the US later in the US official US dollar price.
