A near-Earth asteroid currently identified as C0PPEV1

was discovered early Thursday morning by Catalina Sky Survey in Arizona, and shortly thereafter by the Magdalena Ridge Observatory in New Mexico and Mt. Arizona. Lemmon Steward Observatory.
