The science has found 3 foods that can lower the prostate cancer risk

The study
First, the scientists studied 142 natural compounds found in turmeric, apple and grapes, which have already proven to be effective in the growth of cancer cells.

This plant-based compound has been tested on mouse and human cells and found to be most effective in prostate cancer.

They found that ursolic acid (a waxy natural chemical found in apple peel); Curcumin (the yellow compound in turmeric); and resveratrol (contained in grapes and berries) are most effective against this deadly form of cancer.

Why do the compounds work?
Cells damaged or weakened by chronic infection, mutations of autoimmune diseases usually mutate into cancer cells. These three phytonutrients help reduce inflammation and reduce the risk of these cells becoming malignant.

Cancer cells get nutrients from glutamine (an amino acid that helps break down proteins in our diet) that help them grow. The compounds found in these plants prevent the cancer cells from feeding on glutamine because they do not spread throughout the body.
