The US launch party for OnePlus 7 is almost sold out

A few days ago we told you that OnePlus 7 will be launched on May 14th at various launch parties. The parties will be held in London, New York, Bangalore and Beijing and the tickets will cost £ 16/18 / $ 20. The event will also be streamed on OnePlus's YouTube video channel. Despite the excitement of OnePlus 7, TechRadar reports that one of the launch parties is already sold out.
The locations and times of the events are as follows:
  • Printworks, London – UK | 4:00 pm BST, May 14
  • Pier 94, New York – USA | 11 AM EDT, May 14
  • BIEC, Bangalore – India | 8:15 pm IST, May 14
  • Yanqi Lake, Beijing ̵
    1; China | 2:00 pm PST, May 16
The event in London is sold out and tickets for the parties in New York and India are almost all. That should not really surprise, because OnePlus has become the world's fifth largest supplier of smartphones with premium prices. Not bad for a company that started almost five years ago with the launch of OnePlus One. In order to match supply with demand, which is very important for a startup in the industry, the phones were available by invitation only. Half a decade later, the OnePlus 6T was made available via Mobile in the US.

OnePlus grew because of its ability to produce flagship phones at a lower price. And the OnePlus 7 promises more of it. The device should have a 6.4-inch 1080p flat screen (Full HD) with an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9, a water drop notch and the Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform under the hood. This model could be equipped with a dual camera setup consisting of a 48 MP primary camera and a depth sensor, and there will be a 16 MP front selfie snapper. If the lights remain on, there is a 3700 mAh battery with 20W Warp charging features. It has reportedly included an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and pre-installed an Android 9 Pie-based version of OxygenOS.

The OnePlus 7 Pro will be the company's first model with a 1440p QHD + display At OnePlus 7, we expect the introduction of OnePlus 7 Pro at the parties. This is the company's first mobile phone to feature a notched 1440p QHD + display (with rounded edges) weighing in at 6.7 inches. The AMOLED panel has a 90 Hz refresh rate, ensuring a smoother user experience. This model is also equipped with the Snapdragon 855 SoC and should have a triple camera on the back. The 48MP main camera has a 1: 1.6 aperture (ideal for shooting in low light) and optical and electronic image stabilization (OIS & EIS). The 16 megapixel camera has a super wide-angle lens and the 8 megapixel camera has a 3x telephoto lens. The 16 MP selfie camera starts with a motor on the top of the device.

OnePlus gives this premium device a larger 4000 mAh battery and the phone comes in a variety of configurations. For example, we expect variants with 6 GB memory with 128 GB memory, 8 GB memory with 256 GB memory and 12 GB memory with 256 GB memory. The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with the already Android 9 Pie-based version of OxygenOS.

As already mentioned, the start parties will take place on May 14th. The units will ship on or after May 22, although T-Mobile will offer OnePlus 7 as soon as the official launch of the device is complete. The OnePlus 7 is expected to sell close to $ 579. The OnePlus 7 Pro, available in blue, gray and brown, could start at $ 749, while the 5G version of the latter (which will be unavailable in the US) could cost $ 899 or more.
