The alarming video released on Tuesday shows defender Malik McDowell attacking a Michigan police officer and wrestling him with his electric bat during a routine traffic stop in February.
The TMZ Sports video apparently shows 23-year-old McDowell and a police station officer from Lathrup Village at a local gas station. You hear the officer repeatedly McDowell says he should "sit in your car."
The Free Agent and former Michigan Defense Attorney were arrested after the authorities witnessed his Jeep slip out during the speeding.

McDowell continues to refuse the officer's request before finally stepping into the back seat of the car. He then refuses to grant his license and instead asks to speak with the official's "superior".

After a lengthy back and forth McDowell, 6 & 6 ", gets up and goes to the grocery store the gas station while the policeman tries to arrest him.
The two seem to be arguing. At this point, police officer McDowell warns that he will beat him up if he continues to deny arrest. McDowell then attacks the policeman and seems to reach for the taser.
McDowell sits down, but refuses to stick to the arresting policeman and is eventually hit by the Taser. He pulls his teeth out of his chest and sees him lunging for the policeman. The two keep wrestling as McDowell tries to kill the cop and repeatedly says, "I need a guard."

He seems to be seizing the Taser at one point, and the policeman hears him say, "Leave the weapon fall, let the Taser fall. "
Another officer enters quickly and McDowell also tries to grab her weapon. Three other officers arrive at the scene to subdue McDowell and take him to a patrol car.
According to a police report obtained by the TMZ, officials were issued with a warrant for taking a blood sample from McDowell, although the results of that test were not taken into account. The police noticed a "strong smell of intoxicants" that emanated from him.
